When patients present with thrombotic disorders, clinicians often rely on antithrombotic medications to prevent further clot formation or growth. In acute situations, clot-busting drugs are used, but they have a limited window for administration and carry a high risk of bleeding. Patients suffering from thrombotic diseases are frequently left with persistent blood clots in the vessels, leading to tissue damage, inflammation, occlusion of vessels, or secondary events. This debilitating disease currently has no effective treatment.

Our Solution

At LyzeTx, we are committed to transforming the landscape of thrombosis treatment and diagnosis. Our research group at the University of Aberdeen is pioneering novel therapeutics and diagnostic approaches to improve the standard of care for patients with thrombotic disorders.
